About UsAfter 8 years of working for some large and small lawn care companies, I decided that central Massachusetts needed a different kind of company. So I founded Old Stone Lawn Care in 1994. I have been in the lawn care industry since 1986 and worked for the national companies as well as some very small landscaping firms. I have tried to take all the good aspects of both types of services and apply them to making Old Stone Lawn Care a successful company that can provide you with the lawn you have always wanted.

How we do what we doWe apply only the finest materials available over the course of the growing season. The regular program includes 5 treatments of granular fertilizers to keep your lawn healthy, thick and green. We practice what is commonly known as IPM (integrated pest management) with regards to applying pesticides. This process is used to reduce the overall use of products throughout the season. There are certain problems that need to be prevented with lawn care products such as crabgrass and grubs. Your lawn will receive preventative treatments for these pests. Because of variables such as types of grass, soils, and cultural practices all lawns are not treated with a broad brush approach. Remember these products are applied safely by a licensed professional. |
What we do it withAlmost all our treatments are done with a machine called the Perma Green Ride-on Sprayer Spreader. We ride the machine over your lawn as it applies both granular fertilizer as well as liquid materials at the same time. This allows us to apply the materials at the correct rates and reduce errors.
